RealWorth evaluated the societal value that The Bell, and its associated enterprises and activities, has had on Ticehurst and the surrounding parish since its reopening in 2011. Following this exercise RealWorth was commissioned to measure and maximise the societal value of future development plans being considered for the Bell and proposed improvements to the village square (adjacent to The Bell) in the Ticehurst Neighbourhood Plan.

The study included interviews with a range of local stakeholders including the local community and a socioeconomic background analysis. Qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods were used to understand key changes to the lives of Ticehurst communities.
