This project developed an approach to maximise and measure the social and environmental value of Swedish regeneration programmes.
We helped to develop an approach to maximising and measuring social value and trained local people to use this in their work
The project aimed to influence and support decision-makers seeking to improve community cohesion in Swedish towns and cities by increasing the social value from private and public investment. The work built on existing Swedish models and integrated a Social Return on Investment (SROI) approach through knowledge transfer and practical application. The project included four Swedish case studies to test the approach in the field.
RealWorth provided training and materials to Swedish members of the team (which included designers, local government agencies, real estate consultants and developers) to enable them to establish local capability and capacity to carry out the approach independently.
