Integrate Space

Integrate Space is a facilitator between the real estate sector and the third sector. Integrate work with real estate owners to make their vacant or under-used spaces in prime commercial buildings available to charities on a temporary basis. This service benefits charities who are often otherwise paying substantial amounts for their current spaces; are operating in unsuitable spaces; have no access to space; have limited space to operate their services and/or are geographically distant to their beneficiaries. Through the provision of high-quality space in prime locations across London and the UK, these charities and their beneficiaries have the potential to realise significant social value, in financial and social terms.

Integrate asked RealWorth to create a Social Impact Framework for them that will help to guide their approach to the delivery, monitoring, collation, analysis and reporting of social impact. The Framework covers multiple themes, question sets and broader considerations that can be templated and applied to all future charity occupation projects.

To create the Framework, RealWorth worked with Integrate to pull together all of the potential impacts and outcomes that could reasonably be expected to be achieved through Integrate’s business model. We then used the outcomes to create a thematic approach to survey question sets used within the framework. The Framework provides a template for Integrate to hand to each charity it partners with, as well as a reporting template it can hand to each landlord it works with to capture and report on the social impact created. The guidance document also includes a guided approach to data collection and analysis, including appropriate intervals for the collection and analysis.

The Framework enables Integrate and the charities and landlords it works with, to optimise their reporting processes in addition to clarifying ways in which they can improve their social impact.
