In July 2018 U+I asked RealWorth to assist with its bid to Diageo to create and implement a new Masterplan for a portion of the Guinness brewery estate in Dublin.
The Masterplan comprised mixed retail, office and residential uses in an under-invested yet historic part of the city.
The Masterplan comprised mixed retail, office and residential uses in an under-invested yet historic part of the city. The report contained material to compliment the U+I proposals by reviewing the potential to create social and environmental value for each of the features of the scheme and spread across the four phases of the project.
RealWorth then analysed the social and economic indicators of the surrounding area before predicting the likely impact of the new scheme on nearby neighbourhoods and the population. The report also included recommendations on how to further improve the social value of the scheme, with a view to promote sustainable change in the local area and the wider city. An economic analysis of the job opportunities was also included in the report, with best, and worst-case scenario valuations applied to each feature and the whole Masterplan.
