Prof. Erik Bichard has been invited to give an address, and then jointly lead a practitioner workshop with his hosts (Urban Innovation Lab) at a seminar entitled ‘Improving Models for Valuing Social Impact in Urban Development.
This seminar will bring forward some examples of new ways of addressing social impact valuation in urban development. Participants will be invited to delving into the driving forces, principles and the models being developed to value social impact in urban development.
The following questions will be discussed at the seminar:
- How are social and environmental aspects taken into account in today’s urban development projects?
- What is missing in existing models?
- What is needed to make the methodologies for social impact valuation useful?
The seminar will take place on October 5th 2016, between 10am and 3pm at Tegelhuset next to Rosengårds Centrum, Dicksons väg 3, Malmö, Sweden. Those wishing to sign up for the seminar should do so by Wednesday the 28th of September by sending a request to caroline@urbaninnovationlab.se
