Earlier this year we set up a co-working group called The Engagement Group to develop better ways of involving all stakeholders in designing places. The group’s aim is to create processes that are more collaborative, more satisfying and more beneficial for stakeholders on all sides.
The Group is holding a short webinar on the 14th May to share our thoughts on what that this could look like in practice, and test these out with clients friends and associates.
This event is aimed at local authorities, developers and designers and others involved in large (>£100M) building and infrastructure schemes.
The webinar and our approach isn’t ‘Covid-specific’ BUT… as we explore more and more ways of doing meaningful engagement online, there are elements of our approach that work when social distancing is making traditional face-to-face public engagement impossible.
If you would like to attend the event please register here via the link on Eventbrite.
Whether you are able to make the event or not, we’d love to hear your thoughts on how engagement can be improved. If you haven’t done so already, please take our short survey here to share your views and have your say.
If you have any questions on the event or joining via Zoom, please contact info@realworth.org or contact Sam at sam@communityregen.net.
