Over the last three decades Phil has developed businesses and led projects on three continents – often championing sustainability, social and environmental causes, strategies and initiatives. He brings significant experience in balancing stringent commercial requirements with the broader social and environmental consequences of development.
Prior to forming RealWorth Phil supported a number of SMEs and funders in developing renewable energy projects. Before that he was the Deputy Project Director & Commercial Leader representing Laing O’Rourke in a Joint Venture to design and construct a $2bn Super-Hospital in Montreal
Phil worked for the global construction and property consultant RLB (formerly Bucknall Austin) for 17 years where he led the establishment development and delivery of the organisation’s sustainability services and corporate responsibility programmes. His client portfolio during this time included Ikea, Mars Corporation and the UK Government’s Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA)
Phil is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has worked in Canada, China, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Qatar. He has also been a trustee for a prominent UK charity.
