Our Beliefs
The built environment can and should be used more effectively as a force for good to:
Better serve a wider range of people
Enhance social equity
Improve inclusion and community cohesion
We know that:
Carefully considering people’s lived experiences throughout planning, design and occupation improves decision-making and creates outcomes that are better for everyone
Responsible planning and decision-making provide better, lower risk, longer-term financial returns for commissioners and investors
We support our clients to make positive, lasting, measurable change to people's lives.
How?
We use a stakeholder and person-centred approach to help our clients understand and optimise the impacts that they have.
A key facet of our method is to encourage and enable our clients to build their own knowledge and capacity in social value. We understand that the process can appear complex, so in each project, we strive to demystify it by combining a range of widely adopted, publicly available tools, data, and approaches that are easy to understand.
To demonstrate the changes in peoples lived experiences, we use the OECD Better Life Index's '11 factors of wellbeing', and utilise an array of social value measurement tools.
Want to demystify social value and be better for everyone? We can help you:
Behave more responsibly and amplify the the ‘S’ in ESG, in order to achieve greater success and win more work
Simplify and improve measurement and reporting by focusing on real peoples lived experiences
Understand and keep ahead of legislation in preparation for evidencing outcomes
Implement social value frameworks and reporting requirements.
Develop simple tools to build your resilience to future market changes.
