TSH Glasgow Social Impact Study Gains Widespread Media Attention

RealWorth's partnership with TSH Glasgow has attracted media attention as it demonstrates that the Glasgow site generates 5.5x more social value than a standard hotel.

The Social Hub (TSH) is providing boundary-blurring spaces, with their model of hybrid hotels, student accommodation, and co-working spaces creating connected communities across Europe. For the last three years, RealWorth has helped TSH demonstrate the social value of their sites and future plans.

In 2025, RealWorth measured the social value of TSH Glasgow using a Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology, and found that the site creates 5.5 times more social value per square metre than a traditional Glasgow hotel. This is a crucial comparison, demonstrating the positive impact of its mixed-use function for its students, entrepreneurs, community organisations and local residents.

TSH sets an example of how a business can expand its scope of work to include a variety of stakeholders and strengthen their local community. Its partnership with RealWorth demonstrates TSH’s commitment to inclusive regeneration by continuously evaluating the impact of its sites, considering stakeholder voice and connecting the dots between inputs and impact created.

RealWorth’s findings from the Glasgow report have created a splash within media channels, with at least eight outlets publishing the findings.
